🦆1.8 CWBS: Days 3&4, No Wintering Waterbirds in Aba?

Days 3–4, I conducted bird survey along the Minjiang River in Aba. During the trip, I passed by my grandfather’s house. However, I did not stop due to time constraints.

This was my first time birding in my hometown during winter. The conditions were harsh. Most lakes were frozen, and waterbird numbers were extremely low. Despite this, I observed a Common Goldeneye (Bucephala clangula)—a species rarely seen in Sichuan. An unexpected record in a nearly birdless landscape.
