Plan for collaboration: Efficient Bird-Strike Data Collection Without Extra Workload

Next quarter, we will initiate a "removal record" project.

Most communities—including commercial areas, schools, neighborhoods, and streets—already have sanitation workers who routinely clean bird carcasses if they encounter them.

We propose one additional simple task: take a photo and mark the location before removal.

This allows us to preliminarily identify bird-strike hotspots. The collected photos (after processing) can be presented—either softly or as data—to local residents or business managers to promote bird-strike prevention measures.

Compared to property management surveys, this method is more convenient and adds minimal extra workload.
