Lùke Weekly, a meticulously curated community periodical initiated by the Lùke Editorial Office (provisional name) and supported by the Luhu Community Development Foundation, serves as a dynamic and intellectually grounded chronicle of hyperlocal narratives emerging from the Luhu and Lushan neighborhoods. Functioning at the intersection of grassroots storytelling, participatory culture, and civic engagement, the publication operates as both a reflective mirror of the community's evolving identity and a democratic forum for residents to articulate their voices, experiences, and aspirations. Distributed free of charge (funded by Wanhua Real Estate Developer) in a thoughtfully designed print format, with an average circulation of 3,000 copies per issue (per week), Lùke Weekly transcends conventional neighborhood media to position itself as a critical node within the broader discourse on contemporary urban placemaking, social cohesion, and localized cultural production.

Currently I’m featured twice by the magazine—first in a special April 9th issue on public space renewal, and again in the April 16th edition. For the April 9th feature, the editors specifically invited me to share her views on which public facilities in local communities need improvement from a wildlife conservationist’s view. Then, recognizing my expertise, they highlighted my tips for birdwatching beginners and citizen scientists in the April 16th issue. Two issues. Back-to-back. Expert voice, trusted opinion.
