🪺7.18 CBBS: 5AM Field Research at #85 , 60 Messy Data Sheets to Organize… No Sleep

Arrived at sample area (#85) 50 km away from downtown at 5 AM. Thought I could sleep after getting home at 11 AM. Then I got an email from my colleague, Yuquan:

"Hetong, there are six sample areas (60 handwritten record sheets) that need to be manually entered into an excel sheet. Follow the format in the screenshot I sent you and do the same for bird records. Since the handwritten notes have varying levels of clarity, errors, and abbreviations, there's another Excel sheet with bird names for reference. Research, like any job, comes with some dirty work, but it's all part of the process. Hope you understand."

And now, here I am, entering data one by one...I hope we can hv a better system nxt yr, so we could avoid all these dirty work
