🐼 5.22 Panda Base SE— A Rare Opportunity: Translating for BBC’s The Panda Maker Documentary!

BBC previously filmed a documentary on pandas, called the “The Panda Maker”, but there are some issues with the subtitles and translation. The head of the Science Education Department at the Panda Base is overseeing the project and has invited me (as one of their few bilingual volunteers) to manually re-translate the English subtitles.

I’ve been given specific instructions to carefully check capitalization, punctuation, and Arabic numerals. This is my first time translating for such a major and official documentary—it’s definitely a new challenge! But with dedication and effort, I’m confident I’ll do a great job.
